Le Cordon Bleu 2013 Scholarships

Le Cordon Bleu is pleased to announce a comprehensive range of scholarships for 2014 to recognise and award talented individuals who aspire to industry leadership. These Industry Scholarships are open to both Australian and international applicants demonstrating a high level of success in their respective careers and/or academic studies.

Le Cordon Bleu Industry Scholarships

Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism Tuition Scholarship

A tuition scholarship (valued at $5000) will be awarded annually to an outstanding industry professional to undertake two units from the Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism program.

Most scholarships will require the following information:

Educational History
History of Other Scholarships or Grants Received
Work or Apprenticeship History
Statement of Purpose
Two Letters of Reference: professional, educational and/or personal

Le Cordon Bleu Education Professional Scholarships

This scholarship is open to all education professionals who are currently working or have worked in an educational capacity in the past six (6) months. This includes teachers, lecturers, counsellors and support staff working in schools, universities, TAFE organisations and other Registered Training Organisations.

Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism Tuition Scholarship

A tuition scholarship (valued at $5000) will be awarded annually to an outstanding education professional to undertake two units from the Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism program.

Most scholarships will require the following information:

Educational History
History of Other Scholarships or Grants Received
Work or Apprenticeship History
Statement of Purpose
Two Letters of Reference: professional, educational and/or personal

The James Beard Foundation

In 2013, 1 Scholarship for the MBA (International Hotel & Restaurant Management) and 1 for the Master of Gastronomic Tourism is available through the James Beard Foundation and Le Cordon Bleu.

The Foundation is awarding a scholarship to cover partial tuition of the Master of Business Administration and 2 units from the Master of Gastronomic Tourism valued at AUD$5000.00 per scholarship.

Applicants must be at minimum high school seniors or possess a high school diploma or the equivalent. Students worldwide are eligible to apply. Application closes on 15th May 2013.

Scholarships that are awarded for the MBA program can be accepted for entry in the September, January, April or July intake. The Master of International Hospitality scholarships are for the January or July intake.

Most scholarships will require the following information:

Educational History
History of Other Scholarships or Grants Received
Work or Apprenticeship History
Statement of Culinary Goals (with some scholarships; 500 words or less)
Financial Statement and copy of most recent Federal Income Tax return
Two Letters of Reference: one professional or educational; one personal
