A fabulous calendar of more than 40 events is on offer for all to experience throughout Tasting Australia. These include celebrity lunches and dinners in the city of Adelaide and the wine regions of South Australia with such guests as Antonio Carluccio, Rosemary Shrager, Antony Worrall Thompson, Pete Evans, Maeve O'Meara, Frank Camorra, Ben O'Donoghue, Manu Feildel, Stephanie Alexander and Simon Bryant. There will also be wine masterclasses, food art, cooking classes, debates and unique lunches and dinners.

Elder Park Feast of the Senses

Set along the banks of the River Torrens in the heart of Adelaide the BankSA Feast for the Senses presented by LifeStyle FOOD Channel is the largest public event of the Tasting Australia program. The two-day FREE feast brings together the finest tastes from around South Australia and Australia, along with stage entertainment, cookery demonstrations, and a range of hands-on activities for those young and up-coming cooks.

A Le Cordon Bleu International Chef will be giving a cooking demonstration for young and old at the Miele Cooking Demonstration and IGA Kids in the Kitchen.

Young Gourmet

As part of Tasting Australia, Le Cordon Bleu are proud sponsors of the ‘Young Gourmet TV Show Challenge 2010 ’.  This competition invites schools from around South Australia to create their own TV show.  Schools are judged on their ability to demonstrate a recipe that incorporates a native food with a style of pasta.  The cast must also discuss a food issue related to native food and a South Australian food region. This is a fantastic competition that helps educate children about cooking and native ingredients.
